Welcome to the page where I write about things. Please don’t call this a blog. It’s not. I don’t blog. I just like to write once in a while. No schedules & unfiltered. I’m not quite going for George Carlin levels of fucks but we definitely cuss, curse, & swear here. That’s that. You in? Keep reading. Feelings hurt? Respectfully, this may not be your kind of place. I like to write. I said that already. You’ll likely see (hear?) me say it again. I write for me. It’s therapeutic. I don’t rant on my socials. It’s a bad look. Don’t do it. There’s a place to vent. I type furiously into my iPhone notes. My phone’s notes section is my purge ground of annoyance. Keeps me sane & not looking like the bozo keyboard bullies spewing their nonsensical bullshit. The social discord is out of control. I was on an otherwise positive thread the other day & people had managed to take some mildly informative news & weave it into hating popsicles. How? People are pissed. About everything and nothing all at once. A few years ago I started writing for fun & not just when I was fuming at the day’s politics. My blurbs (better word than blog, tell me I’m wrong) went from being honest, angry, & proactive to being casually challenging & genuinely fulfilling. A zero risk, low stress sort of creative release. Therapy? Sure, why not. Whatever it is, I’m into it. I’ve even got an instagram page dedicated to my weird obsession for caesar salads called @caesarpleaserofficial (dead serious). I was also asked to write art bits for the back page of TAMPA Magazine a couple years ago. Did that for a minute. Not sure it qualifies me as any sort of writer but it was a definitely a low key ego fluffer seeing my name & thoughts being passed around in the wild each month. Right here though? In this space right here I write uninhibited for my creative soul with Architecture, Art, & Design at the forefront. AADMIXX is a pseudo acronym for ARCHITECTURE, ART, & DESIGN, in the MIXX. I’m a sucker for a good acronym. No clue where it comes from but I’m hopelessly attracted to them. So yeah, here I am. I’ll try my best not to be boring.
